Over the 20 years that The Sound Environment has been a Transparent dealer, we have developed an appreciation for and understanding of what Transparent cables and power conditioning can do for the realization of accurate music reproduction as well as the emotion the music is conveying. We have learned that Transparent products should be an integral part of any music system.

Transparent is always doing research and continues to make improvements in their designs. They have just introduced their Generation 5 analog cables.  We are extremely pleased with the improvements that have been made to cables that were already great.

We are one of only a few Transparent dealers In the country that demonstrate the complete product line through Generation 5 Opus interconnect and speaker cable. We are one of only five such dealers within 1000 miles. We are now well known nationally for the superlative sound we get from our state of the art Altair, D'Agostino, VTL, Vivaldi, Air Force, Opus, HRS system.

We are fortunate to have Josh Clark from Transparent at our event. Josh is Transparent's lead product designer. He will explain the development of the new Generation 5 series cables. Transparent wanted to see what cable they could design at the highest level without regard to price. The result was Magnum Opus. What was learned in that design exercise was translated to the range of models to create cables that Transparent feel represent their best effort in each price range.

Transparent has a very good listening room. They spend a lot of time their listening as they develop new cables. They have a variety of solid state and tube electronics, various sources and various high-end speakers. Josh is a musician as well as a designer with a background in physics, not engineering. Josh and others in Transparent regularly attend unamplified music concerts because they love music and to keep their ears tuned.
