Francis A. Kinnicutt Travel/Study Awards for Women
Every year since 1949, the Worcester Art Museum has offered women the opportunity to receive funding to travel abroad and acquaint themselves with the arts of other countries through the Kinnicutt Travel/Study Awards. The museum is proud to announce it is now seeking applications for 2013.

"We know there are many women out there who would love to travel the world and study the arts of different cultures, but simply don't have the means to do so," says Elaine Pusateri Cowan, Kinnicutt Chairperson. "The Kinnicutt Endowment Fund provides the opportunity to fulfill those aspirations by helping to partially subsidize the costs with the hopes that the awardees will further their professional growth in fine arts or enhance art related goals of a personal nature."

The awards, officially called the Francis A. Kinnicutt Travel/Study Awards, provide partial travel funding (up to 50%) to be supplemented by the applicant and are granted based on the merit of the proposal. There is no predetermined amount of an award, but past awards have ranged from $1000 to $2200.

For more information and entry guidelines, visit the Kinnicutt web site
, or call 508.793.4333.
