Travel Responsibly This Summer: Promote The Code

*****************************************************************

Whether traveling for business or pleasure this summer, you can use your unique role to promote the Code. Check out these 5 ways you can help:

******************************************************************

  1. Use Code signatories when you travel: Click here for a list of U.S. based signatories. Click here for all international Code members. Remember to check each signatory's website, they might own other brands!
  2. Can't travel with Code signatories? Leave a letter with the General Manager or Owner of your favorite hotel, airline, or tour operator about the issue of commercial sexual exploitation of children and the importance of the Code as a tool to protect children: Click here for PDF letter.
  3. For our stylish travelers: Tag your bag with TassaTag Fair Trade Luggage Tags and raise awareness about child sex trafficking. The proceeds for the tags support ECPAT-USA's work to fight trafficking while providing an income for local women in Thailand. Visit www.tassatag.org to learn more about TassaTag. TassaTags also make great gifts for summer parties.
  4. If you work in the travel business, use the summer to learn more about the Code through our website www.ecpatusa.org/thecode and launch the Code at your company!
  5. Non-travel businesses can get involved with the Code! Learn how by contacting our offices: 718-935-9192
