Domestic Showcase Pre- and Post-FAMs bring significant attention to a region's tourism assets; Travel South is committed to highlighting our area's rich destinations and attractions. So , it makes our day when an o perator tells us of new tours and packages that emanate from these vital trips.

Allen Kinney, president, Great Day! Tours & Charter Bus Service recently shared with Travel South an itinerary that was created directly from a Branson, Mo. Post-FAM. The "Wild West Meets the Ozarks" itinerary and tour agenda that covers Arkansas was released to approximately 20,000 of their retail and public tour books.

Media Interest in The U.S. Civil Rights Trail
More than 80 articles published

The U.S. Civil Rights Trail sparked immense interest from the public and media. Officially launched Jan. 15, MLK Day, the Trail garnered 15.8 million impressions by late January.  BBC, CBS News and The New York Times were just a few of the outlets to give extensive print to this project.
