WORK WILL IMPACT TRAFFIC ON NEWTOWN ROAD FEB. 16-23

Activity is part of upcoming improvements to the corridor

NORFOLK – Beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, and lasting until 5 a.m. Feb. 23, the left lane of Newtown Road will close in both directions, northbound and southbound, between Center Drive and Princess Anne Road/Kempsville Road for utility work.

Left turns at all intersections will be maintained, and Norfolk Police will assist with traffic.

The utility work is being done in support of the I-64/I-264 Interchange Improvements Project.
