HARMAN Launches "Jam Zone" So Musicians of All Ages Can Rock Out

HARMAN, in partnership with Little Kids Rock, the nation's leading nonprofit provider of popular music instruction, has launched Jam Zone, an online community destination devoted to making learning how to play music fun and easy! Jam Zone provides sheet music, lessons for specific instruments and tips on how to write and produce a song so fans everywhere can make music.  This is just one component of  HARMAN Inspired , the company's global cause program designed to inspire young people in music and STEM. Act now:  HARMAN will donate $5 to music education for every post to Twitter that includes a picture of the Jam Zone site in action using #JamZone and @Harman.

From September 1 through October 17, Hasbro and generationOn are encouraging kids to have the compassion, empathy and courage to stand up for others  through its  Rules of Kindness campaign. Kids are creating their own rules of kindness and developing plans to put them into action in their community using free online tools and resources. Over 41,000 youth have already signed up. Aramark Building Community  Day Improves the Health of Families around the World

As part of Aramark's ongoing commitment to health and  wellness, employees around the world participated in Aramark  Building Community  Day to inspire families to live healthier. This year, over 10,000 employees engaged in 400+ volunteer projects to inspire families worldwide to make healthy food, nutrition and lifestyle choices. See pictures here. Cause Consulting Sparks Creativity of Boston's Youth
 
Building upon its 5+ year commitment to help Boston
youth create college and  career  pathways, Cause Consulting facilitated a pro-bono workshop on "Purpose-Driven Brands" for 55 teens enrolled in the Youth Design summer jobs and experiential learning program. As part of the partnership, Cause Consulting led the Youth Designers Take Action competition. This year, participants designed original work depicting how a brand in the marketplace communicates its purpose. See the designs here
Mark Feldman Facilitates Discussion with Philanthropy Ohio

Cause Consulting's Mark Feldman will be facilitating a webinar for the members of Philanthropy Ohio on the topic of Internal Marketing for Sustainable Community Development on October 20th. During the webinar, he will share trends and best practices on aligning and leveraging CSR internally and engaging key leaders and champions. Participants will also discover strategies that integrate philanthropic and CSR goals into company culture and organizational business objectives. He will be joined by Janelle Woods-McNish, Director or Service and Giving at Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare, and Karen Blickley, VP and Senior Director of Corporate Citizenship for Nationwide and the Nationwide Foundation.
