You do not need a reason to vote early/absentee. Starting Dec. 29th you can vote for the TCU Bond Referendum in person at TCU District Office, or via mail.

TCU SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MONDAY DECEMBER 11TH
Highlights from the meeting:
  • Truth in Taxation Presentation
  • At the annual Truth in Taxation public meeting, Jean Kopp communicated the 17 payable 18 school levy. A review of neighboring district’s levies showed TCU’s levy change to be the lowest amongst the peer set.
  • Summary of Audit
  • CliftonLarsonAllen shared favorable audit results on the 2016-2017 fiscal year. Craig Popenhagen, audit principal, praised the District’s fiscal responsibility and noted that financial analysis shows the realization of the goals set forth at the time of TCU consolidation.

TCU CELEBRATIONS AND HIGHLIGHTS
Knowledge Bowl
Team Xanadu took 12th place and team Aurometalsaurus took 7th out of 65 total teams in the JH Knowledge Bowl Regions. Aurometalsaurus also took home the team spirit award. What a great season!!
