Richard Ray: Director of Missions - Weekly Update
This past Saturday, the Texas Baptist Men hosted a Yellow Cap Training and Laundry/Shower Unit Training for those interested in serving during times of disaster. I appreciate FBC Lampasas for hosting this training. On Sunday, I attended Duffau Baptist Church for their morning worship service, that afternoon I was honored to attend and take part in the Deacon Ordination Service at FBC Stephenville. On Monday, Leah Spence attended the Lampasas Association WMU Gathering at FBC Lampasas, while I attended the planning meeting for the upcoming Tri-Rivers Ladies Conference at FBC Hico. On Tuesday, I was blessed to visit with the Mission Team of Selden Baptist Church of Erath Association. On Wednesday, I was honored to speak at the Gatesville Lions Club on the mission and vision of Tri-Rivers Baptist Area.
Please be in prayer for those taking mission trips during spring break to include the students of BSM of Tarleton along with the many college students throughout Texas who will be reaching the lost for Christ through Beach Reach Ministries.
The Tri-Rivers Retreat Center is staying very active with church groups, staff retreats and conferences. I will be sending a Tri-Rivers Retreat Center Report to all Area Churches in the coming weeks that you can put in your church bulletin to share with your congregations, along with some promotional material for all upcoming ministry to include: Tri-Rivers Retreat Center Appreciation Luncheon and Open House, Tri-Rivers Annual Golf Tournament and Tri-Rivers Ladies Conference.
The pre-registration link to the Tri-Rivers Pre-Teen and Youth Camps is active. You will find the pre-registration links in this newsletter. Spots are limited and are filling up fast. If you have students that you would like to send, please register soon.
Please review this newsletter for more information and opportunities to serve.
