Learn To Grow Hyrdroponics: Disaster Tips
As important as it is to know how to grow it's just as necessary to know what to avoid and be aware of. Keep those babies healthy!
Pest ControlWhat's Wrong: Mites and/or gnats. What To Do: Get some ladybugs and let them loose. Ladybugs have a small life span, so don't be horrified or surprised! Also use neem oil for mites, which is a natural pesticide extracted from the Neem tree in India, that can be sprayed directly on leaves. Be careful not to spray on buds during flowering as it may affect taste. Neem oil is non-toxic to animals and people. D.I.YWhat's Wrong: Custom-made hydro set. What To Do: Reinforce anything and everything you custom-make for your hydro set. You will be glad you took the time to do this! Extra ToolsWhat's Wrong: My pump went out. What To Do: Use that extra pump you set aside. Pumps are going to go out, it's a known fact so be prepared, get extra pumps and always, always, always check them. And you'll notice that each pump comes with a warranty, you might want to use that to!
Remember BUDS, you can't just put a seed in dirt and expect it to grow. Love and attention is required to grow up happy and strong, just as anything else that is alive.

Popcorn Balls (no cannabis infused) by Bittersweet Banshee
Makes 14 balls Ingredients: 2 cups white sugar 1/2 cup unsulfured molasses (not blackstrap) 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 18 cups popped popcorn Directions: 1. In a medium, heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine 1 1/3 cups of water, the sugar, molasses, vinegar, and salt. Bring to a boil over high heat. Cook the sugar mixture, without stirring, until it reaches 255F (hard-ball stage) on a candy thermometer. Swirl in the vanilla.
2. Place the popped corn in a large bowl and pour the sugar mixture over, tossing gently to coat. When the mixture is cool enough to handle, with lightly greased hands, press the popcorn into 3-inch balls. Let cool completely on waxed paper before digging in.
Optional: Candied Bacon Try adding 1/2 cup candied bacon, cut up real fine. To make candied bacon, lay 3 slices of nice, thick-cut bacon on a foil-lined baking sheet and sprinkle a teaspoon of light brown sugar on each slice. Bake at 325 F for 30 minutes or so and check again. Once done, place the bacon on a paper towel-lined plate and let cool--it'll "crisp" up even more. Then chop it up fine and add to your popcorn when mixing all the ingredients together.
