     All are welcome to attend!


BBQ at TCC this Saturday, July 19th, 5-7P

             This Saturday, July 19th, SNL will be hosting a BBQ from 5P-7P at TCC.  We'll do some grilling, have a time of worship with a devotional and discussion, play outdoor yard games and spend time together.  We would love to have you join us!  We'll provide the meat for grilling; can you bring a salad or dish to share?

Preaching this Sunday

           Dr. Donna Petter, Pastoral Associate at TCC and Associate Professor of Old Testament and Director of the Hebrew Language Program at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, will preach this Sunday.  Dr. Petter will continue in the sermon series entitled: "Choosing Joy." Her text is Philippians 3 and the title of her sermon is "Joy in the Gospel."
     

 

Music Reading 101 * This Sunday, July 20 * 11A

            Want to learn to read music? By popular demand several music-reading sessions will be offered over the summer for beginners seeking a basic approach to music reading.

What's Up For Summer?   Children's Ministry Summer Schedule! 

 

Because of the TCC summer schedule (only one Sunday service at 9:30A), the following changes will take place within Children's Ministry.

  • All children must be checked in at the CM desk BEFORE the service in order to get name and claim tags.
  • Infant - Preschool Children will begin and remain in their current rooms for the entire hour. 
  • Children entering grade 1 through entering grade 5 will begin in church with their parents and then be dismissed to Live the Adventure

 

  

Student Ministries Summer Sunday Schedule      

            There will not be a separate Youth Worship Service for the summer;  however rising 6th - 10th graders are invited to join "The Big Dig", a weekly summer Bible study at 9:45A on Sunday morning.  All students will begin in the sanctuary and those attending "The Big Dig" will be dismissed to their class. Announcements

 

Lost and Found - Everything Left in the Church Coat Closets will be Donated on July 28.

Our coat closets and Lost and Found box are overflowing once again!  There are jackets, toys, a baby swing, as well as glasses, books, and more in these closets. We are currently doing our summer cleaning. Please help us get organized before Fall by taking a few minutes to go through what's there, and claim your belongings. All unclaimed items left in the church closets will be donated on Monday, July 28th. Thank you!

 

 

Are you Missing a Dish, Tupperware Container or Pan that you Brought to Church?

 On the kitchen rack next to the refrigerator, there are many unclaimed kitchen items. Please stop by, and see if your items are among them. Anything remaining after July 28th will be donated.

 

 

Independent Review of TCC's Financial Statement now Available

Coffee Hour needs YOU!

If you enjoy a cup of coffee while chatting with others after Sunday service, please sign-up (alone or with your Small Group) to host a coffee hour! There is currently no one signed up. You don't even have to provide snacks - just make, set up and clean up the coffee and tea! (Easy instructions provided - click here to see what is involved!) 

 

Participation gives you and your group an opportunity to serve the Lord and is greatly appreciated by your fellow members. If no one signs up, there are no refreshments or fresh cream!   Please sign up at the Connection Hub this Sunday or contact the church office at [email protected].

 

 

 

 

   

      The TCC Food Pantry, "Loaves & Fishes" offers assistance to those of TCC and the surrounding community who need help with providing for themselves and their family.  If you are in need, please feel free to visit the church office for assistance from the food pantry.  The food pantry is open on Sunday mornings or during regular church office hours. 

 

     We gratefully accept donations to the TCC "Loaves & Fishes" Food Pantry .  There is a collection bin on a table near the lobby stairwell.  We only accept donations of non-perishable food and personal items.  We respectfully ask you not to donate any open or expired items - we just have to throw them away!

The Big Dig

      The Big Dig Summer Bible Study is for rising 6th - rising 10th graders! All participants will BEGIN the morning IN THE SANCTUARY during the first 15 minutes of the worship service. Then our group will be dismissed to Bradford Hall for a 9:45-10:30 Bible study. Parents, you can pick-up your students at Bradford Hall or arrange for them to meet you in Phillips Hall during Coffee Hour.

 

High School students (and 8th graders), don't miss Worcester Serve this Sunday from Noon-3P! 

     Meet at Bradford Hall with your clothing and toiletries donations...pick-up is at Bradford Hall at 3P!

High School Mission Trip - Clothing Donations Wanted

     Our High School Mission Trip is headed to Washington, DC from July 27th through August 2nd. Some of the ministries with whom we will work are in need of clothing donations. The most needed items are: socks, underwear, sneakers, and men's jeans or shorts, sizes 30-34 waist. Other clothing items are also welcomed! Please drop off these items at the TCC Office or with Kyle Smethurst.
