Tonight

Maundy Thursday Service, Tonight at 7P
"Maundy" comes from the Latin mandatum novum, the "new commandment" Jesus gave his disciples in John 13:34. This service remembers the last evening Christ spent with His disciples in the upper room - the first Lord's Supper. Our atmosphere of reverence will reflect the somber occasion and will feature rich hymn singing, the anthem God So Loved the World, from The Crucifixion by John Stainer sung by our sanctuary choir, a message by pastor Chris Ziegler, and the celebration of the Lord's Supper.

Deacon's Fund Offering Tonight
The Maundy Thursday service will be an occasion for our church to give to the needs of our local community. The entire offering at this service will be given to the TCC Deacon's Fund.  The Deacon's Fund enables our Deacons to respond to emergency needs among people of our church and community. You should have received a letter with a special envelope for this collection last week. Thank you for your generosity.
This Weekend

Good Friday Service, Tomorrow at 7P

This service tells the story of Jesus' death by weaving readings, music, art, poetry, and a message together as we enter into the darkness of Good Friday. At this service we symbolically hang our sins on the cross with links of chain, reminding us that in Christ, our chains our gone and we have been set free. When the service concludes we exit in silence and darkness as we contemplate His death and wait in joyful hope for His resurrection on Easter Sunday.

Saturday Men's Breakfast and Bible Study at 8A in RM 205

     All are welcome to attend!

Holy Saturday Service at SNL, 5-6P

SNL is the evening worship service at TCC.  This service proclaims the same gospel message as in our Sunday morning services but through the informal atmosphere of our multi-use space adjacent to the sanctuary.  Pastor Todd Szymczak, TCC's Associate Pastor, will be preaching this week.  Infant and preschool childcare is available.  Please join us!

Easter Sunday Parking - Please help!!

If you are physically able, please park in the Town Building Lot (see map). You may drop off people or paraphernalia and then proceed to the parking lot.  We want to extend hospitality in a practical way and leave parking spots for visitors, the handicapped, our older population and those with young infants and toddlers.  Plan a few extra minutes, so you can park in the town building lot (or on the side streets) and walk in.   Please do not park along the sides of the driveway, as these areas must be kept clear for fire lanes.

Coffee Hour after 9:30A Service this Sunday - Can you Help?

As you may know, there will be three Worship Services this Easter Sunday at 8A, 9:30A and 11:30A (rather than 11A). In the past, parking needs have forced us to get rid of the coffee hour between the 9:30A and 11A services on Easter Sunday. This year, however, we've moved the 11A service to 11:30A in order to make room for the Coffee Hour!

Our hope and prayer is that first-time visitors and unchurched families will take this opportunity to connect with TCC regulars and experience community.   In order to provide food and refreshments for the massive Easter Sunday morning crowd, would you consider preparing/providing something for Coffee Hour this week?

Please click here to sign up.
Please deliver your food/refreshment to the TCC Kitchen by 9A! Our Student Ministries Assistant, Polly Soares, will be organizing the Coffee Hour Set-up. If you would like your platter or dish back, please write your name on it.

With robust programming for Children infant-5th grade in the "Live the Adventure" program, families should plan on arriving early to escort their children to their Sunday program.

11:30A in the Sanctuary

Our third service (note 11:30A!) will meet in the Sanctuary, and will be nearly identical service to the 9:30A (choirs, brass, hand bells, worship band) plus the addition of the pipe organ to blow the roof off the house! The "Live the Adventure: Encore" program will be ministry for children birth - 5th grade.
