Summer VBS - July 17-21 (Registration Open, Supply Needs in Narthex)
Thanks to everyone who has signed up to participate or volunteer! We need more crew member volunteers to help Summer VBS is scheduled for July 17-21 and is a free, Monday through Friday, half-day VBS camp open to the public, the Trinity family, and Trinity Lutheran School's CDC and summer camp participants.
This is a true Outreach initiative through which we are able to witness and serve right here in Orlando.
The MAKER FUN FACTORY will Spark the Imagination with Faith-Building Fun, telling children all about how we're Created by God and Built for a Purpose! (see videos and find registration form on the website) YOU can be involved AS A PARTCIPANT, as a VOLUNTEER or by providing SUPPLIES. Registration forms are available in the narthex, in school offices or on the website. Please check the display in the narthex entry for information about needed supplies. YOU are a key component of this outreach opportunity for our summer camp kids, neighbors, Trinity families and friends, and we can't do it without one another! Thank you!! Contact Jenn Blackwood
or Julia Malenke
if you have questions.
Comfort Dog Ministry
Our public fundraising campaign for the Comfort Dog Ministry was launched Tuesday through GoFundMe. Please find it on our
and share it with your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, EVERYONE! And then tell them to share it with everyone they know. We need to get the word out into the community so they can help us reach our goal!
While Trinity members will want to keep giving through offering envelopes and our VANCO portal for online giving, (so that your giving shows up on your giving statement), we'd also like to ask you to go onto the
Go Fund Me page
just once please
, and make a small contribution and comment there to show your support publicly and let people know how many people we have supporting this ministry. Whether its $1 or $100 - any amount will help and shows people just how invested we are! THANK YOU!
Building the Team
We're building the Comfort Dog Ministry Team now. On the
Comfort Dog Webpage
you'll find a list of opportunities to serve on this ministry team. Contact us at
to let us know. The next team meeting will be in August! Let's get to know one another, find out where and how everyone can serve, and learn more about what is involved in community visits with the dog and taking care of the dog.
Thank you for your support! We're thrilled about all the outreach opportunities this will provide and how many people can be involved! This is going to be an awesome ministry for Trinity!
New Bible Study Series in July
For all five Sundays in July at 9:30am in Fellowship Hall, join a discussion group that will reflect on some of our favorite church hymns and dig into the scriptural references within them. Together we'll explore the treasures of encouragement and teaching found in some of our most inspiring music. It's a great time to visit with your church family and learn something new about music and scripture. Coffee and snacks are available - we just need YOU. (all Bible studies listed here)
Come and join us on Friday, June 30 at 11:30am for lunch at Brick and Fire Pizza located at 1621 S. Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32806. Please e-mail or call Audrey and Bob Gordon to confirm (407-897-1418 or firstname.lastname@example.org ) if you will be there.
