Message from the President

Dear Parents,
It's been a week of cold, grey skies. I'm having a hard time remembering the last time the sun was out. But there's always something at Trinity to brighten my day! This past Monday I visited with Sr. Judy at Sinsinawa (otherwise known as The Mound). I met so many Dominican sisters who had either attended or worked at Trinity over the years. It's little wonder that they consider Trinity their crown jewel. You can feel the love they have for our institution and our community surrounding it!
In case you haven't heard,
Sr. Judy is this year's Honoree of the Trinitarian Award
; highest honor Trinity High School bestows upon an individual. This prestigious award honors her as a leader in the development of skills for lifelong learning, an ethic of care, and a desire for excellence. It recognizes that she committed to the betterment of our community at a great personal sacrifice.
This award, along with a couple others, is presented at our annual gala,
Bal Dominique
.
This year on April 18, the Trinity Community will gather to honor Sr. Judy, and we do hope you will consider saving the date and joining us! It is an event that celebrates all that is unique and wonderful about our mission to continually challenge ourselves and empower our students to be leaders who embody knowledge, faith and strength as well as raise funds to support tuition assistance. Sr. Judy has been a remarkable example of these characteristics to our young women.
Around 300 guests attend this function--all there to celebrate and support Trinity High School. I'm told there is no event that can hold a candle to Bal Dom! I know I will be there this year to see it for myself, and to honor the amazing woman who paved the way for me here at Trinity. I hope you will put this date on your calendar and try to join us.
