Help for Hawaii - The Ripple Effect
Sunday in worship, you heard from Trinity CDC teacher, Stacey Carroll, who shared with you how children in her CDC classroom have created a ripple effect across Trinity's campus to initiate a Summer Service project to care for families in Hawaii who have been impacted by the volcano eruption. We'll be collecting both gift cards and school supplies over the next several weeks. The class has connected with Pastor Mark Zier of Christ Lutheran Church in Hilo Hawaii, who will ensure that our donations go to the families who need them. Gift cards should be for businesses in Hawaii that the families can access: Safeway, Walmart, Target, Sears, Home Depot, Shell Gas, 76 Gas, Walgreens, Firestone, and Goodyear Tire. Please drop off your gifts in the donation box in the Narthex. Once the collections are complete, we'll ship the gifts to Hawaii with funds received from a Thrivent Action Team grant. Thank you for being a part of the ripple effect of acts of kindness!!

Special Voters Meeting July 29
The Campus Development Task Force received Project Costing data information from our Ministry partners at Foundry Commercial which was then shared within the Task Force members and the Leadership Council for review and comments. Follow-up meetings with Foundry Commercial on Tuesday, July 3, and also with LCEF on Thursday, July 5.  Following those meetings, it was determined that an additional two weeks is needed to get all the details in place for presenting to the Congregation, and so the Special Voters meeting is scheduled for Sunday, July 29 .  At that time, the CDTF will present to the Congregation the motion to consider petitioning LCEF for an improvement loan to fund the project work identified for Trinity.  The Voters' Meeting will be called to order at 12:15 P.M., or the conclusion of the 11:00 A.M. Worship, whichever comes first. So please mark your calendars, and date books to participate in this Special Voters' Assembly Meeting, for Sunday  - July 29 at 12:15 P.M. Blessings to all, Rocky Smothers -Campus Develop Task Force Chairman

Food and Funds on the Fifth Sunday
Trinity collects donated food to be given to local ministries on every fifth Sunday, as well as funds for the Pastor's discretionary fund. Just this week, requests for assistance were met for three different individuals with urgent needs. This wouldn't have been possible without the generosity of those in our Trinity family who make donations to the Pastor's discretionary fund. This month, we'll collect food and funds on Sunday, July 29.  Food donated this month will be given to Hubbard House of Orlando Health.

Please let us know!
Please let your Trinity family know of any scheduled surgery or hospital stay.  In addition to scheduled procedures, please give the church office a call to let us know about extended illness, unplanned hospital stays, or even the birth of a child.  You can call the office at any time and leave a message-no need to wait until business hours (407-488-1919 x101). During business hours, that information can then be forwarded to the appropriate caregivers. For an emergency that requires the care of a Pastor after hours or over the weekend call or text us at 407-490-7339 and leave a message. We'll get back to you ASAP. We want to be sure to know when you need us-whether to pray with you before a scheduled procedure, sit with you during a loved one's procedure, pray for you while you recover, visit you in the hospital/at home or to share praise and thanksgiving prayers for good news/results. Just let us know.  Thank you.

Strength & Flexibility
You're welcome to join us on the first and third Mondays of each month for a fitness class at 6:30pm (new start time) in Fellowship Hall. Email Beth @ baschu4@bellsouth.net  to confirm you're coming. Class starts at 6:30pm, please arrive by 6:20pm. Thank you! Bring With You : an exercise mat (and block if you have), $5, Comfy clothes, smile and enthusiasm!

Summer Sunday School Passport Adventures
Check the Narthex (lobby area of Sanctuary) for your child's Summer Sunday School Passport Adventure where each weekend, you can pick up your booklet, complete the learning activity during worship, and receive a stamp at the end of the service from the ushers in the narthex.  Children can earn prizes for their stamps which will be awarded at the Fall "Rally Day Sunday" after the 2018-2019 school year begins (date TBA). These passport booklets will hopefully encourage our families to worship together while giving the children something to do to help focus their attention on the worship service. If your family visits another church on vacation, please bring in the church bulletin and your child will receive a stamp for that Sunday.

Box Tops
Please remember to cut those box tops and bring them to church during the summer  months. We would love to get a jump start for the 2018/2019 school year!

Urgent Prayer Requests
If you have an urgent prayer request that can't wait until you fill out a yellow prayer card during worship, please submit it via email to Pray@TrinityDowntown.com .  While submitting a yellow card during worship is still the preferred way to share prayer requests, sometimes a prayer need can't wait until Sunday.  Your prayer request (first name and basic details of the prayer requested) will be shared with a team of committed weekday prayer warriors and will also be added to Trinity's regular printed prayer list for the congregation.  All prayers are kept on the printed list for a period of three weeks, so please resubmit long term prayer needs regularly so that they stay on the printed list. Thank you.
