First of many bird walks held for the Second Annual Bird Fest Event at King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas. The park was active today, and lots of birds were seen throughout the walk. Highlights included a Red Tailed Hawk being harassed by a Red-shouldered Hawk, a huge flock of over 150 Mourning Doves, many Hooded Mergansers in the pond and two Red-breasted Sapsuckers.
Although not countable, the Northern Goshawk at the event was quite spectacular!
