FREE Opening Night Tickets to Residents
The Tuscarawas County Convention & Visitors Bureau is giving Tuscarawas County residents FREE tickets to Opening Night at Trumpet in the Land. Tickets will be available through Opening Night on Friday, June 15 or while tickets remain. They can be picked up at the Welcome Center (124 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia) Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Trumpet in the Land has been a staple attraction in our community for 49 years, and we want area residents to experience (or re-experience) the magic of Ohio's premier and longest running outdoor theatre production. Please share this opportunity with local staff and guests.

Regular ticket prices are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors or $10 for children 12 and under. Other 2018 season performances include Bye Bye Birdie, Why Do Fools Fall in Love, Life Could Be a Dream, Dorothy Meets Alice, and Dracula.
Travel TUSC Day
Before the show begins on Opening Night, we also invite the general public to attend our Travel TUSC Day trade show. Just outside the theatre at Trumpet in the Land, we will have tables of giveaways and information to a number of area attractions:

  • Dennison Railroad Depot Museum
  • Historic Schoenbrunn Village
  • Uhrichsville Museum of Clay Industry and Folk Art
  • Historic Zoar Village
  • Ft. Laurens Museum
  • The Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas
  • The Warther Museum & Gardens
  • The J.E. Reeves Victorian Home & Carriage House Museum
  • Tuscarawas County Historical Society
  • Broad Run Corner (Broad Run Cheese House)
If your organization or attraction would like to participate in TravelTUSC Day, please call our offices at 330-602-2420 or email us at info@traveltusc.com to secure a spot. This event runs from 5pm to 8pm at Trumpet in the Land, and we hope to expose our local community to all of the wonderful things they can find here at home!
