Greetings!
Our 2012 year is off to a great start with our Single Parent Youth Programs! From our Reward Trip in January with Team Bass, to our Squirrel Hunt in February, and most recently our Archery Shoot in March we have been busy. In addition we have been able to attend two wild game dinners this quarter to share more about what God is doing through Truth in Nature in the lives of the single parent youth we are working with. God contines to bless this organization and is truly leading the way as we move forward this year. We hope you enjoy the new format of our newsletter as we strive to make it easier to get our happenings and other information to you. Thanks for your continued support and may God continue to bless you and your family. We hope you all have a great Easter as we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ!
Tight Lines, Steady Aim, Cleansed Heart!

January to Bass Pro Shops
January was our planning month for the upcoming year. However we did not let that stop us from getting together with some of the single parent youth from last year to take them on their Reward Trip. Team Bass was our winning team from 2011 and got a trip to Bass Pro Shops to pick up some gear for themselves as a grand prize. From airsoft, to fishing, to head lights and other miscellaneous gear they stocked up. This team worked hard all year and this was truly a rewarding experience for them. Pictured below from left to right are Daniel, Jared, Jeff, Djuwon, and Zach leaving Bass Pro Shops after their grand prize experience! ______________________________________________________
God Working in February
February we officially kicked off our 2012 Single Parent Youth Programs with our annual Squirrel Hunt. This year it was held at Walker Creek Outdoors in Waco, GA. Walker Creek and Truth in Nature have formed a partnership and we are now doing all of our fall deer hunting and squirrel hunts at their location. We truly appreciate their hospitality. The squirrels did not cooperate as much as we would have liked, but God was working in one young man's life. Jared, one of our regular attendees, accepted Christ after our program. Jared felt something different inside him after hearing Aaron Farley's devotional Friday evening. After speaking with Jeff about what he was feeling Jared learned about salvation and asked Jesus into his heart on the way home from the program Saturday! Praise the LORD! God worked through our volunteers to reach Jared and now he is a follower of Christ. Outside of all the program activities this is our prayer for God to use us to reach these youth for His Kingdom. We continue to pray that through our future programs this year more youth will come to know Him. This month we were also invited back to the Living Hope Baptist Church Sportsmen Banquet. It is always a fun time to share about what God is doing through Truth in Nature in the lives of these single parent youth.

Living Hope Baptist Church hosted this program again this year. God brought us a great day of Archery and an awesome message through Aaron Farley again. We were joined by Chad Cox and his team from the Georgia DNR again this year. These guys go out of their way to come help out with this program for the kids. This program we had 17 single parent youth on hand to learn a little archery and also hear God's Word. It is truly a blessing to see the volunteers and the DNR come together for a common goal for these youth. March brought us back to the Fortified Hills Baptist Church wild game dinner. As with the other wild game dinners it is always a blessing to get to share with them as to what God is doing for His Glory through His outdoors!
