Did you know that God doesn't want us to
almost
believe the truth?
Sounds funny when we say it like that, right?
But sometimes we act like we believe the truth...enough.
Enough to get by. Enough to sort of be free. Enough to kind of have peace and joy and freedom.
But that's not God's heart.
He doesn’t want us to
almost totally
believe the truth. Or
sort of
believe the truth. Or believe the truth
most of the time
.
His heart for us is that we would
believe the truth all of the time!
That we would believe truth so deep down in our core that nothing else would matter.
That any thought or word to the contrary of what He’s said, would seem so foreign, so strange, that we wouldn’t even consider entertaining it!
That we would know His voice and know the truth. And that truth would set us free!
Completely free!
And so I encourage you today - remind yourself of truth!
Remind yourself of truth over and over again! Speak it out! Declare it out!
Let the truth of God's heart wash over yours. Let the truth of His thoughts make yours new.
Allow His truth, the truth, to transform you! To change you! To make you into the beautiful new creation you already are!
You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.
