Thursday, 10/6. The teachers and children will be notified in advance of the drill to eliminate any potential stress or anxiety.
We are in the second week of Scantron testing and the students have acclimated welltothe new testing format. We look forward to sharing the results of the tests with parents at the upcoming parent / teacher conferences. We will also be providing additional information on the instructional plans we've implemented in response to the testing results.
The annual STS parent directory will be completed by the week of October 3rd. Please contact
if you have any questions or would like to opt out. If you would like to place an ad in our directory, or would like to list your student on the babysitter list please contact
We have a few more days of the month to fill for families or individuals to pray the rosary for the intentions of the school and parish communities and our country, can you help? Dates still needed: 14th, 17th, 18th, 27th, 29th. Click
to sign up. You don't need to be at school or church to do this, you can do this at home and it only take 15 minutes.
Thanks so much for your strong support of our amazing school. I greatly appreciate it!
God bless you,
Joseph M. McLaughlin,
Principal, Saint Timothy Catholic School
This week we have had cases of head lice in third grade. The students were treated over the weekend and all students were checked Monday. Please continue to make me aware of any cases so we can try to stop it before it spreads.
Prevention is key to so many communicable illnesses at school and I appreciate your help with notification and teaching your children the importance.
There has also been reports of fevers with and without a stomach virus; lasting a few days.
Flu Season is upon us and Prevention is Key!
Getting an annual flu vaccine is the first and best way to protect yourself and your family from the flu. Flu vaccination can reduce flu illnesses, doctors' visits, and missed work and school due to flu, as well as prevent flu-related hospitalizations. The more people who get vaccinated, the more people will be protected from flu. This page summarizes information for the 2016-2017 flu season.
