We are now in our third week of school, and we have been receiving many questions from parents regarding the carpool process. Subsequently, I am attaching two carpool videos (below) that outline the morning and afternoon process visually. I also need your help with morning carpool, to insure that the process remains safe. We've noticed that many parents are still parking in the far lot and walking their children to the door. Please know that this creates a safety hazard, especially when children are walking through the lot and cars are backing up to leave the far lot. We have had some close calls that can be avoided if everyone follows the process.
I also ask that you please not use your cell phones while you are in carpool. Thanks so much for your immediate compliance with and consideration of this request. Student safety is our primary focus and concern.
STS celebrates America by showing our solidarity for the victims o
f Hurricane Harvey, by ADDING red, white or blue to your regular STS uniform. Tomorrow,
Wednesday, September 13th, students are asked to bring in a monetary donation for NCEA in support of those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
The money raised during our Americana theme day will go to the National Catholic Education Association's campaign: "Student to Student: A Catholic School Response to Hurricane Harvey." 100% of the funds collected will be distributed to dioceses in the affected areas for their Catholic schools in vital need of support due to the impact of Hurricane Harvey. You can learn more
. There is also a matching grant that will match ALL the money raised across the United States!
The next PTO meeting will be held on Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, at

As the weather gets cooler in the mornings, we know students will arrive to school with jackets and hoodies, and many times our students forget or misplace them. One of our amazing parents, Mrs. Davis, has
organized, photographed and created a website of lost and found items.
If your child has lost something, please
log onto the Saint Timothy Lost and Found website and use the password LostAndFound to see if your items are there. Or email Mrs. Davis to see if she can help you. A special word of thanks to Mrs. Davis for developing this helpful solution.
Starting this week, Mrs. Rutledge and I will be discussing the topic of harassment, and all of its forms, with our 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. If you prefer that your child not participate in this session, I ask that you please notify Mrs. Moses by e-mail at
We are currently working on the annual parent directory and would like to know if you prefer to have your contact information left out of this year's directory. If you prefer to keep your information out the directory, I ask that you please contact Mrs. Tara Irons. If you would like to have your child listed as a babysitter, please contact Mrs. Kelly Schmank.
The High School Placement Test is required for all students who plan to attend a Diocesan high school. It is part of the admission process, and the results are used to place students in their courses as freshmen. This year the test is on November 30, and is administered here at STS.
For several years, we have partnered with Testmasters to provide an online HSPT prep course. Through this arrangement, St. Timothy School students are given a discount for a course that prepares students for success on the HSPT. If you are interested in learning more about the course and signing up, please contact Mrs. Rutledge.
A reminder that students are currently participating in the first round of Scantron standardized testing. We will be sharing the results with you after the three week testing window has closed.
I ask that you please review the important Race for Education and Spirit Wear information below, in the PTO section.
Thank you so much for your strong support of our wonderful school.
God Bless You,
