Service League of Manitowoc County:
Attention parents of graduating seniors! Service League of Manitowoc County is now accepting scholarship applications. This is a one semester non-renewable scholarship. There are a minimum of four scholarships available ranging from $250 to $1000. Submissions must include all supporting documents by the March 2 deadline. The Salvation Army
has resumed its Wednesday night Revolution Youth Activities. Youth grades 1-9 can learn an instrument and participate in other activities that help them develop life skills and better understand who they were created to be. The Light Teen Center continues to host youth in grades 7-12 on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This is a safe environment with ample options for teens to enjoy. It is located at 402 N. 9th St., Manitowoc. The Food Pantry is very busy and we continue to see an increase in the need for food assistance. We are finishing up our Christmas Campaign (ending 1/31/18) and continue to be behind our goal. Last-minute donations are being accepted by mail or at the office.
