Mission Box 
The mission box this week will support the Florida United Methodist Children's Home Madison Youth Ranch. The Ranch is a place of love and safety for children who are desperately in need of both. The focus of these funds will go toward making a difference in these children' s lives. Let 's continue in 2017 to show these children how much Trinity loves and cares for them. 
Wednesday Night Dinner
Join us for food, fun and fellowship! The menu for January 25 is creamy chicken pot pie, steamed broccoli, soup, salad, and dessert.  Gluten free/dairy free options are available.

The kitchen will be open from 5 - 6:30pm. Adult meals are $7, children 6 and up are $3, 0-5 eat free with a $25 family cap.

SMILE Mentoring Program
Do you have 30 minutes during lunch to be an "encourager" for a Rawlings Elementary student?   The SMILE mentoring program is in its 2nd  year and currently serving 45 children. SMILE is a Faith Mission partnership with Greenhouse Church and Rawlings to support and encourage students who may most benefit.  There are 12 more students that Rawlings is asking us to serve this semester!  Could you be one of the 12?  45 minute orientations will be held at Rawlings on  January 31 at 1pm and February 2 at 2pm.  Please see here for details and contact Ward for more information.
Children's Ministry
Would you like your child baptized?  Baptism is one of the two sacraments in the United Methodist Church.  All parents are asked to participate in a Baptism Orientation prior to the baptism of their child.  The next Baptism Orientation will be held January 29 at 12:10pm in room 125. Join us on January 28 from 10-11am at the San Felasco Park Playground to craft, snack, and play with our NW neighbors!  
Come "Be my Valentine" at our next Parent's Night Out on February 3, from 5:30-8:30pm.  Our themed night will be a fabulous night of dinner and Valentines activities for ages 12 months and walking through 5th grade. Cost is $12 per child with a $30 cap per family.  Please register and pay on-line by February 1.  
  
 
The Marriage Course Date Night
Reserve a table for just you and your spouse to experience seven focused date nights as you enjoy a delicious meal and private conversation. A strong, loving and lifelong relationship takes effort and dedication to keep the fun and romance alive.

UMYF- Meet us at the youth bldg. at 5:30 for a Salt n' Light night and we'll have a very familiar speaker share his testimonial with us. You won't want to miss it!

Grief Share
Your journey from mourning to joy, led by Stephen Ministry leaders. Wednesdays, from February 1 - April 5 from 6:45 - 8:15 pm in room 225. Community Conversations
The Trinity Church Council is hosting a series of town hall style events to provide ongoing and open dialogue between the general congregation and lay/staff leadership of the church. The first Trinity Community Conversation will be held January 30 at 7pm.  At this meeting lay and staff leaders will make a short presentation regarding current ministries and initiatives of the church. The majority of the time will be set aside for Q & A from the congregation, where any topic can be discussed. All members of the Trinity community are welcome and encouraged to attend. SOUPer Bowl Sunday
On February 5 - come support Sonlight's 2017 tour by enjoying lunch. To-go lunches are available after all 3 services and table service is available after the 9:40 and 11am (until 1pm) in the atrium. For only $8  you receive a choice of corn chowder, chicken tortilla, chili or vegetable soup, crackers, rolls, and dessert!
New Mission Study
Join the UMW on Wednesday Nights in February from 6:30-7:30 pm in 232 for a new Mission study: Climate Justice, A Call to Hope and Action.  Attend any or all the sessions - they are independent discussions.
Christian love and sympathy is extended to Theodore Twitty and family on the passing of his sister, Gloria Gales.
