Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
"An Unexpected Journey"
Sometimes life throws us a curve ball even when we think we have it all mapped out. Sometimes things just don't go the way we had planned. That's what happens again and again for the heroes of our faith in the Book of Genesis. For Noah, Abram, Jacob and Esau, and Joseph the journey is not always what they would have anticipated, yet through it all God seems to make a way. Join us for these summer Sundays to see what message God might have for you as you seek to make sense of your life's unexpected journey.

This Sunday's sermon title is " Unrelenting:  Birthright and Blessing," by Rev. Catherine Fluck Price ( Genesis 25:19-34). Click here for more information on the series.
Mission Box
This week's mission box supports Smile Train, an international children's charity with a sustainable approach to cleft lip and palate. Cleft repair surgery is simple, and the life changing transformation is immediate. Their sustainable model provides training and funding to empower local doctors in 85+ developing countries to provide 100%-free cleft repair surgeries in their communities (text 2 give keyword: smile).
Standing in the Gap
Tragic gaps are easy for us to see in the world around us and, as Christians, we are called to stand in those places. In this 6:35 Contemporary Worship Service message series, we are exploring the stories of the Biblical characters that stood in those gaps. Wednesday evenings, now through July 26.
Prayer in the Chapel
Just a reminder that we are continuing Prayer in the Chapel with Catherine every Tuesday from 5-6pm for the rest of the summer.  This is a time to sit together in silent prayer listening for the voice of the Spirit and praying for our church.  You are welcome to come and go as you need and to come any week you are able.

Caring & Support
Would you like to be Christ's hands to someone in need?  You can be those hands by serving as a Stephen Minister. Stephen Ministers reach out with God's love to people who are hurting and need a caring listener.  Training for Stephen Ministry will begin on September 27 and continue through February.  For more information, talk to Lenora Rousseau (416-3033) or Lynn Cunningham (372-1027).
Stepping Stones Preschool
We are in need of an Afternoon Enrichment Teacher's Assistant to work with 3 and 4 year olds. The hours are 12:30pm-5:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please call Andrea Agnew in the preschool office at 416-3025 or email us your resume.

Please take note! Maestro needed! Do you play the piano or do you know someone that does? The preschool is looking for a music teacher! This would involve 6 hours every other week on Thursdays and Fridays (3 hours/day) and accompaniment for our Christmas program and graduation. You would need to provide lesson plans with age appropriate music activities. We don't have a piano in the classroom, so if you have a keyboard, that would be great! Sound like fun? Contact Ms. Jan at 416-3025.
Christian love and sympathy is extended to
the family of Mary Sue Barger Hobday for her passing on July 5.
This week's altar flowers are given in honor of Ethel Cooper's Birthday.

If you would like to provide the altar flowers, please contact Bree
(416-3017). If you need to make arrangements for assistance or special accommodations during Sunday services, please contact  Shannon (416-3005) Monday - Thursday. If you would like to have your milestone birthday announced in the Tuesday Word, please email Kelly
