Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
Accept the Challenge - Prayer in the Chapel
Two weeks ago, Catherine challenged you to be in prayer daily for Trinity and invited you to join her every Tuesday this summer from 5 - 6pm in the Chapel.  This will be a time to sit together in silent prayer listening for God's direction and praying for our church.  During that hour, you are welcome to come and go as you need and come any week you are able.  Let's stick together and pray as we are "united in our devotion to prayer."
"An Unexpected Journey"
Sometimes life throws us a curve ball even when we think we have it all mapped out. Sometimes things just don't go the way we had planned. That's what happens again and again for the heroes of our faith in the Book of Genesis. For Noah, Abram, Jacob and Esau, and Joseph the journey is not always what they would have anticipated, yet through it all God seems to make a way. Join us for these summer Sundays (June 25 - August 6) to see what message God might have for you as you seek to make sense of your life's unexpected journey.
Mission Box
In two weeks, a team of teens and adults from Trinity, Mt. Pleasant, and Bartley Temple will be traveling to San Pablo La Laguana, Guatemala to help build a home with the Organization for the Development of the Indigenous Maya ( ODIM). ODIM, a small Methodist mission, serves two villages in rural Guatemala and has many programs, including a medical clinic. This week's mission box will help cover the teams expenses, as well as support additional ODIM needs. (text 2 give keyword: odim)

And mark your calendars for the Food Packing Event
on June 25 at noon.
Summer Sunday Lunches
From June 25 - August 6, you're invited to join us for lunch after worship on Sundays at noon. What could be better than having on of Franny's meals right next door? In coordination with our Month of Missions, Summer Sunday lunches will be served family style at the tables and prices will be the same as dinners during the school year ($7 for adults, $3 for kids age 6 and up, $25 family cap). No reservations are necessary, just come and enjoy the food and fellowship. And be sure to invite a friend, neighbor or co-worker to worship with you and join you for lunch. We'll have our own kind of BOGO...first time guests of Trinity eat free!
Children's Ministry
Thank you for your donations, preparations,  set-up help, support, and prayers for VBS! Last week, over 450 children, youth, and adult super heroes discovered our strength in God . Our children did chores to earn money and raised $1,500 (in ONE week) to put towards a roof for a Habitat House.

Wouldn't you love to make a difference in the life of a child? Serve this summer, June 11 - August 6, as an occasional Sunday morning 9:40 or 11am volunteer! Summer is a great time to get involved. Play a part in helping children grow in their faith. No experience or preparation needed - just be ready to have some fun! Email Brian to share how you can serve.
Caring & Support
Healing Touch Cancer Support Group will meet on June 15 at 5:30pm in the O. Dean Martin Prayer Room. We will be discussing how to convert our worries and anxiety into trust in God! Marcey and Margie will be leading and sharing with us from their own personal cancer experiences. Please join us as we support and encourage one another on our life journeys.

Would you like to be Christ's hands to someone in need?  You can be those hands by serving as a Stephen Minister. Stephen Ministers reach out with God's love to people who are hurting and need a caring listener.  Training for Stephen Ministry will begin September 27 and continue through February.  For more information, contact Lenora Rousseau (352-416-3033) or call Lynn Cunningham (352-372-1027).
Month of Missions
Trinity is committed to making a difference in the world and you'll have the opportunity to help us do just that by participating in a " Month of Missions." Each week from June 25 - August 6 we invite you to do something hands on for missions. We'll start with a food packaging event on June 25 at noon (along with lunch). This is a fun event for all ages filling bags with dried food to fight hunger in areas that are most in need. Don't worry, no special skills are needed!

The following six Sundays, you're invited each week to bring items to meet a specific need from men's flip flops to diapers to school supplies. If you missed it last week, you can still pick up your refrigerator magnet with the "Summer Sundays" reminder card listing the Mission Box, the Mission Donation/Focus and the Summer Sunday lunch menus. It's gonna be a great summer!
Standing in the Gap
Tragic gaps are easy for us to see in the world around us and, as Christians, we are called to stand in those places. In this new 6:35 Contemporary Worship Service message series, we will be exploring the stories of the Biblical characters that stood in those gaps. Wednesday evenings, June 14 - July 26.
Pulse Anniversary Prayer Vigil
Come join us anytime between 8 - 9pm in the Chapel on June 13 for reflective prayer, candle lighting, and remembering all those who were impacted by this tragedy one year ago. For more information, contact Lenora Rousseau (352-416-3033).
