Prayer in the Chapel
Catherine has invited everyone to join her for a time of prayer in the Chapel every Tuesday through May 15 from 5 - 6pm.  It will be a time to sit together in silent prayer listening for God's direction and praying for our church. During that hour, you are welcome to come and go as you need to and to come any week you are able.
Wednesday Night Dinners 
Join us this week for a meal packaging event including a pizza dinner! Dinner will be served at 5:30pm, normal Wednesday Night Dinners will resume next week, April 11.

This week's Mission Box will support Rethinking Conflict, a non-profit social enterprise working in the field of conflict transformation, peace building and reconciliation. Their founder is Rev. Dr. Gary Mason, our guest preacher this weekend. Gary played an instrumental role in the Northern Irish Peace Process and has been formally recognized by Queen Elizabeth II for his work in peace making and reconciliation.  While serving as the pastor of the East Belfast Mission, Gary played a leading role in establishing the Skainos project in inner city Belfast, a world class urban social justice center, developed in a post-conflict society as a model of coexistence and shared space. He is frequently sought out locally, nationally and internationally to share his experiences on community transformation, social justice, conflict transformation, peace building and the role of religion in conflict. Buildings and Grounds Coordinator
We are hiring a new Buildings and Grounds Coordinator, who will be responsible for the general maintenance and repairs for all church facilities, including buildings, grounds and equipment. Additionally, this position is responsible for working with and coordinating volunteer servants and outside vendors to maintain a pleasant environment for all who visit. New Church Directory Opportunity
Good news! Missions
mealJoin us on April 4 for a meal packaging event with Called to Action to send meals to Honduras. A pizza dinner will be provided in the Worship Center and served at 5:30pm, the packaging will begin at 6:15pm. This is a great event for the whole family, we can find jobs for everyone!

The Missions Spring Yard Sale will be April 21 from 8am - 12pm in the Worship Center parking lot. For sellers: $25 for 2 tables, no reservations needed. For buyers: come find some new treasurers! All proceeds benefit Trinity Missions.

Children's Ministry
Join us as we "Spring" into our next Parent's Night Out on April 6 from 5:30-8:30pm. Our themed evening will be a fabulous night of dinner, spring crafts and activities for all ages, 12 months and walking through 5th grade!  $12/child, $30/family cap. Register here by April 4.

Adult Ministries
Singles Connecting through Spiritual Growth (SCSG) (Sundays, 11am, rm E221) is a new small group at Trinity for single people in their 30s and 40s. We offer an inviting and welcoming community to foster fellowship and to grow deeper in relationship with Christ.  For more information, contact Lisa Watson.  
 
Friends with Disabilities is a new small group where friends with disabilities have the opportunity to grow in faith together and experience God's love and grace.  Come join us on Wednesdays, beginning April 4, from 6:30 - 7:30pm in the O. The Case For Christ: A journalist's personal investigation of the evidence of Jesus

Mission Study: Living As A Covenant Community, Wednesdays, April 4 - 25, 6:30 - 7:30pm, Room E232. Contact Mary Byrd. This study examines major covenants throughout the Bible and what they reveal about God's character and eternal love for us. It will enhance your understanding of how God works with us, in us, and through us. The study is sponsored by The United Methodist Women. All are welcome.

Caring & Support
The Widows and Widowers Support Group will meet April 3 at 5:30pm at Northwest Grille. *Please note date correction, we apologize for the incorrect information in last week's Tuesday Word.

The Florida Kairos Prison Ministry is asking for you to shower God's love (Agape) on the inmates through prayer, giving, or getting involved with their event on April 12. This is instrumental in helping the inmates realize that, no matter what they have done, they are children of God and their lives can be redeemed through God's grace and love. The next Order of St. Luke healing service will be April 8 at 11am in the Chapel. Come and receive healing prayer for yourself or for someone else. Linda Buth will give a short testimony and teaching on a topic we are all, unfortunately, familiar with - FEAR. Also, The Lord's Supper will be celebrated and led by Rev. Lenora Rousseau. Invite someone to come with you, as all are welcome to attend. 
Art Show Update
The Gainesville Fine Arts Association Show ends in just a few days, if you haven't seen it, stroll through the 2nd floor of the Education Building before  April 9 .  The next show is our annual Trinity Talents Show. This is your show, open to any Trinity members, friends, or associates.  Please consider sharing your art with us; paintings, fabric art, photography, sculpture, wood crafts, whatever can hang on the walls or fit into the art display case!   Applications will be available by  April 22  with the hanging on  May 15 .
