Wednesday Night Dinner
This week's menu is chili mac, mixed veggies, corn on the cob, garlic bread, soup, salad and sopapilla cheesecake. Gluten Free/Dairy free options are available.

The kitchen will be open from 5 - 6:30pm. Adult meals are $7, children 6 and up are $3, 0-5 eat free with a $25 family cap.

Mission Box 
This week's Mission Box supports Family Promise of Gainesville (FPG), formerly Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Gainesville (IHN). They are a nonprofit organization created to provide shelter and comprehensive support for homeless families with children. Their goal is to mobilize community resources and local congregations to provide compassionate care, shelter, meals and case management to homeless children & their families.

Great Pumpkin Harvest
October 30th, from 4-7pm is the annual Great Pumpkin Harvest and we are accepting CANDY donations for the event!  Place in the orange bucket outside the CMT office, room 108.
Pumpkin Palooza
The next Parent's Night Out is October 7 from 5:30-8:30. Join us for pizza, a pumpkin craft, and time in our Pumpkin Patch. This is for children ages 12 months and walking - 5th grade. Cost is $12 per child, $30 family cap.  Please register and pay on-line by October 5. Contact Virginia with questions.
Cost of Poverty Experience
Would you like to better understand challenges faced by low-income families in our community?  Trinity is excited to offer the Cost of Poverty Experience on October 22 from 9:30am to 12pm at Faith Mission and YOU are invited.  The Cost of Poverty Experience is an experiential way for us to learn about obstacles faced, decisions made, and consequences that impact families every day.  See  here for an overview video.   If you would like to attend or have any questions, please email Ward by October 10.
Trinity is Hiring!
A new position is now available on staff with Trinity UMC. We are looking for someone to serve as Worship Arts Assistant. The position is part-time, approximately 20 hours weekly. This person will work closely with Alice Wallis, Director of Worship Arts, providing administrative and logistical support for the worship and music ministries of the church. The best candidates will be members of Trinity, followers of Christ, have strong administrative skills, and a desire to enhance the worship ministries of the church.
