light bodied, high acid; think of Gamay. Pomegranite & Red Cherry
2nd course:
Pan Seared Ahi
Nicoise Vegetable Salad
Turley Pesenti Zinfandel 10
medium bodied, floral-like potpourri & sweet tarts. Reminiscent of a full-bodied
CA Pinot Noir.
3rd course:
Blackened Atlantic Salmon
Red Miso Buerre Blanc
Ueberroth Vineyard Zinfandel 10
one of the highest acid wines we make. Lean but powerful.
Lots of crushed minerals. Dark red/blue fruit.
4th course:
Harris Ranch Braised Short Rib
Hamakua Mushroom Risotto, Buttered Broccolini
Hayne Zinfandel 10
full bodied, dark, powerful, still with sweet Zin notes.
5th course:
HASR Lamb Chop
Grilled Polenta, Ratatouille
Hayne Petite Sirah 10
full bodied & dark, with heavy tannin. Inky, smokey, gamey.
