Tuscaloosa United Soccer Players and Parents,


We're excited to bring you this club update as we begin the new year!  We have several important announcements to make including the introduction of our new Director of Coaching Sean Doran, information on an upcoming Meet & Greet event for Coach Sean, and spring recreational soccer registration!
Recreational Soccer Registration Early Deadline is Jan. 26th
Registration for our spring recreational programs is open now!  Programs available this spring include Juniors (U4), TUSL (U5-U8), and TUSL (U9-U14).  Make sure you go ahead and register as the early deadline is Thursday, January 26th!  Late registration is available through February 2nd for an additional $20.

New for Spring 2017: A birth certificate is required to be on file at PARA to register.

Welcome Sean Doran, Director of Coaching
PARA is proud to introduce Sean Doran as the new Director of Coaching for its soccer program, Tuscaloosa United Soccer Club!

Sean has spent the last 5 years coaching in the United States since relocating here from the United Kingdom where he played university and semi pro soccer as well as representing his home island of Jersey in multiple youth international fixtures. From February 2012-August 2016 Sean worked in New Jersey and New York as both a full time coach and program coordinator with The Football Club of New Jersey (Morristown, NJ) and NY Stars Premier (New York, NY) where he coached numerous high level club teams in the extremely competitive NY/NJ area. Upon relocating to Alabama in the summer of 2016 Sean coached at BUSA for the fall season as well as working within the Alabama ODP program. He currently holds his UEFA B License as well as qualifications from the USSF, NSCAA and English Football Association.

We are excited to have Sean with us and look forward to having him work with our players and coaches this spring!
Meet and Greet for Coach Sean Set and Spring Kick Off for Sunday, January 29th
To welcome Coach Sean to the club, we will be holding a Meet and Greet and Spring Kick Off on Sunday, January 29th at Sokol North Complex.  Please check out the times below! All groups will have a group warmup and break into small sided games.  There is no fee to attend the event. We hope to see you there!

1:00-2:15p: Elite Girls (Academy and U12 team)
2:00-3:15p: Recreational Players (All age groups)
2:30-3:45p: Elite Boys (Academy and U12-U13 teams)
