Rep. Wayne Christian invites you to attend a Budget Townhall Meeting with your Texas Comptroller Susan Combs on March 14th at the R & R Bakery & Coffee Shoppe in historic downtown Marshall, Texas. The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30p.m.
Comptroller Combs and Rep. Christian will be discussing important issues facing the state in the next budget cycle, our current fiscal health and what we can expect in the future.
"I am very honored that our state's Comptroller Susan Combs will be coming our way to talk about the budget and issues that are important to East Texans," said Rep. Christian. "Taking discussions about the state's ledger directly to the people is exactly what we need to make sure that folks down in Austin hear the people before making critical decisions with their tax dollars."
Comptroller Combs and Rep. Christian are going to take the discussion directly to the people to not only inform them, but also to seek their input on their budget concerns and areas of interest moving forward. This event is open to all.

State Representative Candidate Forum in
Marshall, Texas - March 17th

On Saturday, March 17th from 2:00-4:00p.m., the Harrison County Republican Party will host a candidate forum for the office of State Representative for the new House District 9.
The event will be held at East Texas Baptist University in the Ornelas Student Center on the second floor in the Woods Great Room. The event is open to all.
