A parade of city cyclists and pedal-powered contraptions make their way around the harbor, joined by the critically acclaimed performing arts group Squonk. The Baltimore City Fire Department boat also makes an appearance at the Inner Harbor for an illuminated water show.

Squonk’s outdoor light spectacle explodes with human-powered cycles, propelled by their original chamber rock music…and their own legs! Sounding joyful music, these 2-story parade floats sprout bulb-horns and banners, percussion and whirligigs.

At 8pm, a celebratory processional comprised of community residents and their original light-augmented umbrella sculptures will parade through the Greater Mondawmin community to the sculptures in Hanlon Park. There, the lighted sculptures will become the stage for performances by artists, musicians and spoken word poets hosted by Sunsets.

TWILIGHT EVENT for DESIGNLAB@LIGHTCITY: 
GLAMTECH FASHION SHOW FEATURING WEARABLE TECH

For the FREE Twilight Event for DesignLab@LightCity, this show is a collaborative effort with the GlamTech advisory team, Made in Baltimore designers, St. Francis Neighborhood Center, and Digital Harbor Foundation. Designers and curators will perform a total of 6-7 “scenes” featuring various forms of wearable tech in a fun and upbeat way.

PLUS: Check out "Case Study: A Virtual Reality Museum" in the lobby of the Columbus Center open to the public from 6-8pm through Saturday, April 8. The museum features 3D and Virtual Reality representations of historical items that have been damaged or lost over time.
