City Council meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Residents are urged to attend to stay abreast of what is happening in Shenandoah.

Community Garage Sale

Join your neighbors at the fall garage sale. Hosted by the Civic Club, this sale gives you an opportunity to clean out the closets and garage while making some money. For Shenandoah residents only, registration and information is available at nancyjsmith15@gmail.com.

P&Z meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Executive Conference Center.

Trash Bash

Sponsored by Public Works to provide disposal of large unwanted household items, along with household hazardous waste disposal, green waste recycling (branches up to 6” diameter, leaves, yard waste), electronic and metal scrap recycling and reuse, and other standard recycling services (paper, plastic, aluminum, steel, etc.).
There will be no additional fee for any of these services for residents. Shredding will also be available.

14th Annual TAKE BACK DAY

Join the DEA and Shenandoah Police Department as they provide a safe way to dispose of old or unused drugs. This provides an environmentally safe method to dispose of drugs rather than in trash or toilets.
October 31, 6-8 pm
Halloween Safe Streets

Sponsored by the Shenandoah Police Department, Halloween Safe Streets provides children a safe opportunity to enjoy trick-or-treating. Enjoy the fun and some treats --- you won't be want to miss this!

The map of the streets involved is shown at right. The route will also incorporate the City Park where the Civic Club will provide refreshments.

City Council meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Residents are urged to attend to stay abreast of what is happening in Shenandoah. NOTE: Due to the Thanksgiving holidays, there is only one Council meeting for the month. This is a tentative date and is currently on the agenda for October 11 to formally set.
