The 2012 Ty Lawson Basketball Camp will take place at Rock Canyon High School in Highlands Ranch, CO. Rock Canyon High School is equipped with two full size courts, 12 baskets and a spacious lobby that will house the camp store, film room, basketball class room and parents camp brunch and luncheon. The 2012 camp will be similar to the 2011 camp which was a huge success. Like last year Ty plans on attending the camp daily and plans to be engaged and involved. Last year Ty participated in drills, coached, refereed, sat in on film sessions, played in the coaches game and even danced! Like last years camp there will be a speed and agility station. And of course there will be tons of prizes given out daily.

What's New For 2012?

Team Rate - For $1850 you can register a team of 11. The players have to attend the same session. The teams that take advantage of the team rate will be able to take a autographed team photo with Ty Lawson and two of their coaches!

Parents Day Mixer-

Included in the cost of this years camp is the Parents Day Mixer. Both of Ty's Parents (pictured above) will attend the mixer, and will be available for parents to mingle with. Along, with Ty's parents Paul Graham, Nick Graham's father a former Division 1 coach will be available for parents as well. The purpose of the mixer is to encourage, educate and empower parents to support their young athletes.

Camp All Star Game

-Ty will coach one team, and Nick will coach another! The stands will be packed and the official PA announcer of the Nuggets will announce the game complete with player custom player nick names and all!

Camp Celebrity Game - Ty Lawson along with other local sports celebrities, and sports personalities will participate in the celebrity game. Already confirmed to play is Denver Bronco Lance Ball amongst many others!

2012 Camp Details:

There will be at least a 9 to 1 camper to coach ratio.

Each 2012 camper will receive a camp t-shirt and an autographed picture with Ty Lawson.

The camp staff will include top skill coaches from across the country, along with local coaches, collegiate and professional players.

Once again Nick Graham, on of the top skills coaches in the region will lead the Ty Lawson Skills Camp.

Ty Lawson will be active and involved daily.

Each Camper will receive a camp t-shirt and an autographed picture with Ty Lawson.

2012 Camp Skills:

Ball Handling - Campers will do both stationary, agility and scoring ball handling drills daily.

Footwork - Along with speed and agility work players will have scoring, finishing, shooting and ball handling footwork stations.

Speed and Agility - The 2012 camp will feature speed and agility coaches. The coaches will have a speed, agility and footwork station during the first three days of the 2012 Ty Lawson Camp

Contests - Along with fundamental drills, Ty wants to reward the kids with tons of fundamental games throughout the week. Players will have many chances to win prizes throughout the week for winning the fundamental games!

Along with speed and agility work players will have scoring, finishing, shooting and ball handling footwork stations.
Passing - Passing stations will fundamentally teach players how to make chest, bounce and one hand passes. Specifically, players will work on passing to the post and passing under pressure.
Shooting - Players will be drilled on perfect shooting form and balance. Along with form shooting players will work towards shooting at game speed.

Games - Players will play competitive 5 on 5 games each day. On "Championship Friday" teams will compete within their league for the camp championship. The team champions will receive an award for winning.

Camp Store

The camp store will offer snacks, pizza and drinks. Camp merchandise will include Ty Lawson t-shirts, dry fit shirts, Ty Lawson autographed action posters, Ty Lawson sports cards and more!

Ty Lawson and A N' A is committed to developing not just players, but coaches as well! We have already assembled our paid staff, but we can always find room for young coaches who would like to donate their time and learn the fundamentals of coaching.
