Dear Friends,
Right now, most of our friends and families in Central and Southern Israel are staying near bomb shelters. Like many people across Israel and America, we are scared, anxious, and worried about the safety of our loved ones.
We would like to take this opportunity to once again send our support for the State of Israel, our friends and family, and the Israeli Defense Forces, knowing that we are a strong, brave, and united people.

This past week, four Tzofim summer camps have been evacuated due to rocket fire from Gaza. The Tzofim had to organize hundreds of buses in order to safely evacuate over 7,000 children who had been enjoying their long-awaited Summer.
The Tzofim are working to create and maintain programs up North in Israel, that will allow as many as possible of the 80,000 Tzofim chanichim in Israel, to take a break from their current harsh reality and enjoy camp.
For this cause, we kindly ask for your support.

UPDATES FROM OUR PROGRAMS IN ISRAEL

Chetz v'Keshet (CVK) remains unaffected by the current conflict. All programming and activities are continuing as initially planned, and parents are being updated on security as needed. Our program just finished their North Week, enjoying the shore of the Kinneret and the views of the Golan Heights. Keep up to date with CVK at our blog.
Tzofim Tzabar continues to make final plans for Machane Tzababa 2014! We are excited, and no plans have changed so far. We will be in Northern Israel, and will continue to update parents on security or changing plans, as needed. If you have any questions, please contact Daphna.
Tzofim Garin Tzabar is supporting the 800 Lone Soldiers who are in active duty participating in Operation Protective Edge of the IDF. The Tzofim are working to find alternate homes and hosts in northern Israel for soldiers who choose to spend their army breaks in a more peaceful area. We could not be more proud of our brave young soldiers, and wish them only strength and luck in this time of need. We support them fully and always. Please support these brave young men and women.
