Sign Up to Host a
Dinner for 12 Strangers in Feb. or March
|
Dinners for 12 Strangers is a 47-year UCLA tradition that has become a global phenomenon. Every year, on one of three nights, alumni, faculty and students come together to enjoy good food and conversation. The Dinners program is a wonderful way for your alumni to engage with current students in your school.
For hosts, please sign up using this link:
https://alumni.ucla.edu/traditions/dinner-for-12-strangers/host/
In this box “
Provided there is sufficient interest, would you prefer to host a dinner focused on a particular major, profession or interest? If yes, please indicate your preference.” – indicate your interest in a dinner with students from your respective school.
At the start of Winter Quarter, we’ll follow up with the student sign-up link. Staff can share the link with their students and we’ll match the alumni hosts with students from their corresponding school.

Complimentary Tickets to the Laugh Factory, Hollywood
|
The last few months of Supply and Demand shows at the Hollywood Laugh Factory were such a success that the club has extended the run through December! If you haven't been yet, you've missed many sold out shows, Dane Cook and Tom Papa dropping by, and performances by Whitney Cummings, Jerrod Carmichael, Iliza Schlesinger, Tommy Johnagin, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Carlos Alazraqui, Steve Hofstetter, Erik Griffin, Godfrey, Neal Brennan, and more!
If you already have tickets, great! If not, the shows are every Wednesday through December. We have 50 complimentary tickets to each one - then they go to $5, $10, $15, and $20 as the show sells out. The Laugh Factory is supporting these shows in a big way, encouraging their most famous comedians to drop by and do surprise sets. Grab the complimentary ones before they're gone and go to as many shows as you want. To get your complimentary tickets, visit:
