ALL UCP Campuses and programs (School, Daycare and Therapy) will be closed Thursday, October 6, 2016 and Friday, October 7, 2016.   

When will we make up these school days?    
      Each county had already established make up days for school closures.  
 
      Orange County Campuses - Make up Days will be October 28th and April 28th
      UCP Osceola Campus - Make up days will be October 14th and October 17th.
      UCP Seminole Campus - Make up days will be October 13th and October 14th

When will the campuses open?
      We anticipate the campuses will re-open on Monday but watch our Facebook page           for up to date details.    UCP Facebook Page

UCP School Uniforms
This year UCP Charter Schools have mandatory uniforms for all K-5th grade students.  Some campuses are extending to PreK (4 year olds) and up.

Please help encourage your students to be in uniform!   Below is an info flyer on the uniform policy:

We have a new vendor that is doing $6 UCP Charter Polo shirts.   To order - complete the attached form and give to your front desk with a check or money order (all orders must be pre-paid). Next order is due by 10/10.   UCP Apparel
 One of UCP's largest fundraisers is coming up on October 21st - The Faces Behind the Miracles Breakfast.  This one hour complimentary event is a chance for you to share the UCP story with your friends/colleagues.   The funds raised here helps support all UCP campuses and programs.   UCP fees and reimbursement only pays for 90% of our costs - we depend on fundraising for the remainder!

Did you hear the news? UCP Charter Schools were recommended for approval for the prestigious accreditation by AdvancEd (formally known as Southern Association of Colleges and Schools-SACS). 

A team of independent assessors visited every classroom at the UCP Charter School campuses and interviewed almost 200 teachers, other staff, parents, students and community stakeholders.  In their summary - they noted the passion and commitment of all our staff to helping every child succeed (as well as the exceptional community support we have).

There will be a comprehensive report coming shortly and we will be writing up an action plan based on their suggestions for further improvement.

Have you registered to vote yet?  The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming Election is October 11th.   It's very important that everyone researches the candidates positions on issues that are important to you and vote accordingly.
