This program features critical findings from early research on the key elements of creating a high-impact connected learning experience for youth, including:
  • The challenges and potential of authentic community partnerships
  • Elements of program design such as recruiting youth and incorporating their voice in the planning process
  • The transformation effect of a learning lab on the larger institution;
  • Understanding youth outcomes and funding strategies to sustain a learning lab.
