September Rally Brings Youth from Around New England Together
The weather was almost perfect for our first youth rally of the year. Youth from ar ound New England gathered to talk about "Common Ground." We discovered how people with different opinions on very sensitive issues can work together to find places of common ground.
The work is not easy and ground rules such as respect, courtesy, patience, and the ability to understand people's feelings had to be followed. As always the youth showed us all that it is possible. Many people expressed frustration with what they see as bad role modeling by adults. Many thanks to Amy Griswold for all the work she did getting ready for the weekend.
