As i mentioned in Saturday's Email Update announcing the availability of their
1/43 scale Indy Eagles, the boys at Replicarz have released a fresh list of 1/18 and 1/43 scale models in the planning stages for their popular Replicarz Exclusive line. They include several Indy 500 winners - both diecast and resin and in both scales - along with some welcomed future additions to their sports car range.
A 1/18 scale Shadow DN4 was announced by another company several years ago, but for some bizarre reason the model has yet to appear. Replicarz lists both
Jackie Oliver and
George Follmer versions of the last true Can Am car. Both will be done in resin. A 1/18 scale resin Cheetah, also announced but never produced by that same company is also on the Replicarz Exclusives drawing board. Other highlights include the
Alan Jones 1978 Can Am Championship winning Lola T333 and
Dan Gurney's glorious Lotus 19, the first winner of what was to become the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
On the Indy Car side, the Lola T90's of 1966 Indianapolis 500 winner
Graham Hill
and Rookie of the Year
Jackie Stewart
are on the list, along with the Lola T90.00 Chevy of 1990 Indianapolis 500 winner
Arie Luyendyk
. All three will be in resin.
All that is planned for the future. No release dates were given. As always, it's best to be patient. We'll update information as we receive it.
I
n the 'here and now', our first shipment of the
1/12 scale STP Turbine
from Replicarz Exclusives is due later this week and there is still time to reserve a
1/43 scale Indy Eagle
from the shipment that is set to arrive soon afterwards. They're going fast.
We expect a lot of new product announcements from the Nuremburg Toy Show later this week.
We've had a sneak peek at the 2017 TSM and TopSpeed Catalogs. Ford GT fans will be pleased.
More soon.
