First MyCare Ohio Enrollment Notices Sent

On February 26, Ohio Medicaid began distributing enrollment notices to prospective MyCare Ohio beneficiaries in the Northeast Ohio region. Beneficiaries in this region will have until May 1 to choose a plan and on that date will begin receiving Medicaid services from one of three MyCare plans in the region. They also will have the option of receiving their Medicare services from the same plan. Similar notices will be sent over the next two months to beneficiaries in other regions. The goal of MyCare Ohio is to improve the overall health and well-being of Ohioans by better coordinating their Medicaid and Medicare services.
