The Webers
These two, one the son of a Tatar countess, the other, the daughter of a governess in the palace of a cousin of Tsar Nicholas II, spent many years educating and interacting with the students of Pikeville College. Their life experiences, so far removed from the daily routine of a small Appalachian community, are part of the greater value of this institution. Educators like the Webers provide the unique perspectives valued by the University of Pikeville.  | More
