Thank you to all of our families for your ongoing support. As we head into the Thanksgiving Break, I want to thank every student, family and staff member for their hard work. I truly enjoy working with each and every one of you. On the heels of parent teacher conferences and report cards, I have started to think about what kinds of additions we can make to report cards to make the process more informative, engaging and interactive. We have scheduled two parent focus groups the week we get back from Thanksgiving Break. The groups will take place Wednesday, November 30th from 9am-10am or 4pm -5pm. If you would like to be involved in helping me think through additions to the report cards the district currently uses, please email me which group you would like to join at [email protected].

Thank you,

Multicultural Night

Calling all eaters! Calling all chefs! Calling ALL Families!
It is time for a feast for friendship and family. It is time for our annual Multicultural Night. This year we are changing the format to an evening of connection and camaraderie. We will share dinner together at University Park from 5:30-7:00 on Wednesday, December 7th.

Tom Boasberg, DPS Superintendent, said:
Education can help us bridge our differences and can help bring us together around respect and understanding rather than fear. It is through education that we can better understand our past and grapple with the issues of today, including those that are dividing us.

We will have conversation starters on all the tables and ask that you come with an open mind, open heart, and hungry stomach.
Please plan to bring a dish to share (12-15 servings). Let us know what your dish is here We also need help setting up, cleaning up and serving. Sign up to help here.
