PTA & CSC News
We are still in need of parents who would like to become more involved with the PTA in the 15-16 school year. UPark is a high-performing school, due in no small part to the efforts of the PTA, and we don't want that to change! Position descriptions and time commitments vary, and all are welcome. Please email Jen Frenkel
for more information.
Thank you to those who attended the joint CSC and PTA meeting last week. See the PTA minutes HERE.
CSC Update Several updates will be made to the Parent Handbook for the 2015-16 school year, including policies on school and teacher communication, to reflect more current information. Policies and procedures in the works are Exit Interview Process, New Student/Family Integration, Marketing Policy, and Volunteer Policy. If you are interested in working with Mr. Varveris, Teacher Representatives, and other Parent Representatives on these policies and similar projects, then the CSC is the right place for you! We are still looking for 2 parent representatives for next year. Please click here for a nomination form if you are interested. CSC Minutes 4/7/15
