Principal Update:

As we head into the winter months, we prepare for more inclement weather during morning drop off and afternoon pick up times.  We had our first taste of winter weather last month, which caused some confusion as to where parents should drop off students.  If the weather is extremely cold and/or snowy, students will meet in the gym rather than out on the playground.  Because of space constraints, we ask parents not to stay with students once they are safely dropped off in the gym.  Doors 3, 5, and 9 will be open from 8:40am-9:00am for inclement weather drop off.  Any late drop offs will need to go through door 3 after buzzing into the office.  All doors are labeled at the school, but please feel free to click HERE to see door locations on our school map.

If there is extreme inclement weather or other safety concerns during pick up time, parents will be required to come into the building and pick up students from the classroom.  To the best of our ability, we will send an email/phone call to let families know this is going to take place.

In addition, the east side of St. Paul, in front of the school, is a loading zone only between 7am-5pm, Monday through Friday.  Please consider this when you are making arrangements to volunteer, watch a performance, or attend other school functions during those hours.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our UPark Satisfaction Survey.  I'm looking forward to reviewing the results and discussing them further in next week's newsletter.
