Student Council & Kaleidoscope Clothing Drive

The University Park Student Council and Kaleidoscope are sponsoring a winter clothing drive in order to provide warm winter clothing to those in need. The drive will be from Monday, December 7 through Friday, December 11. Students and families can drop new and gently used winter clothing items in the boxes located on each floor of the school building. We are accepting clothing of all sizes for children and adults. 

Faculty Kitchen 
Volunteers Needed!

Our teachers and staff use the faculty kitchen every day.  There are a few things we can do to help maintain this area for them.
1) Volunteer to keep the faculty kitchen clean and organized.

2)  Donate an item from the "Shopping Wish List". See the shopping list here.

Green Team

Reminder: The next UPark Student Green Team meeting is this Friday, December 4, 2015 from 8:15-8:45 AM. Green Team members will meet in Ms. Cardenas' room (Rm. 116).

5 Star Wizard Hat Students:

Congratulations to last week's 5 Star Wizard Hat students! They were recognized by their teachers for positive behavior. 

Last week's students include: Emily Dolan, Addison Samaras, Dax Johnson, Dominic Gonzales-Ruiz, Elena Galemba, Qoteda Elgadi, Cadence Branham-Benson, Seamus Slevin, Kai Stutz, Cooper Morton, Daniella Stark, Addie Wester, Marley Stoler, Ella Babeon, Jules Cohn, Abel Villalpando, Raphael Chitwood-Monrroy, Ronnie Tucker, Sam Davis, Carlee Erb, Addison Blackwood, Ramsey White, Kai Smith, Vance Vialpando, Elaina Nederveld, Lucy Lloyd, Eve Robinson, Ben Bignell, Kyle Kojima, Jillian Samaras, Christian Post, Maya Bartelt, Angelina Holm. 

Wizard Hats are given throughout UPark to celebrate students' good choices and positive behavior. We use a common vocabulary and teach Critical Thinking skills using the BrainWise curriculum.  Each week there is a random drawing of 2 students done by classroom teachers. These children are photographed and receive a token of our appreciation.

*At the end of each month we will be donating all clothing in the lost and found and anything left in the halls(all clothing will go into our little red school house in our parking lot).
