Principal Update:

Happy New Year and welcome back! I am proud to announce that University Park is one of the recipients of the Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award for 2014. This honor is given by the Colorado Department of Education to schools that demonstrate excellent student growth, and a great way for UPark to start off the 2nd half of the school year.

It's always exciting to add more talent and support to our UPark Staff! Please join me in welcoming the following paraprofessionals and student teachers:

            Asma Alayeb - Paraprofessional, Havenar/Hale (K)

Chelsea Teutsch - Student Teacher, Bryers (4th)

Caitlin Ammerman - Student Teacher, Smith (3rd)

Doug Leber - Student Teacher, Archambault (2nd)

Ashley Pokrzywinski - Student Teacher, Ostrom (3rd, January 20)

Megan Lucero - Student Teacher, Cardenas (K, January 13)

Mark Beaty - Student Teacher, Hartin (P.E., January 20)

Looking forward to what we can all accomplish together in 2015!
