PTA

The PTA recently purchased approximately 150 new hardcover books for the library.  Many of these books have been on display so the kids can browse before they go on the shelves. Also, a few parents recently painted and spruced up the space. Thank you to Brooke Bolinske, Jennifer Robinson, Dana O'Connor, Jacqueline Cote, and librarian Jamie Gentry for working hard to make our library great for the kids!

Would You Like to Make a Difference at UPark on February 27?
Hello Friends & Neighbors of University Park! Your community council is teaming up with Project Helping to offer residents the opportunity to help make a difference in the neighborhood in 2016. Our first project will start at University Park Elementary School, who needs our help to paint 10 classrooms and provide some TLC in the school. We are seeking 50 volunteers to help us on Saturday, 2/27/16 from approximately 9am - 1 pm. Bring your family, friends & anyone who likes to paint. And if you can't join us, please consider a small donation to help us raise the $1,200 for paint & supplies. Click here for more details and to sign-up. THANK YOU!

One of the most popular items at our annual auction are one of a kind experiences and behind the scenes tours.  These are FREE donations and everyone loves them!

This year, we are trying to get 10 cool, one of a kind, awesome behind the scenes tours.  Do you or someone you know have something to offer up?  A grocery store tour, a plant tour, a sports stadium tour, behind the curtain tour?  Not sure?  Email Dana O'Connor at auction@uparkelementary.org with your idea.  Be part of the 10 awesome experiences!
