Bring in an Auction Donation and Spin the Wheel for a Prize!

The success of our auction is dependent on the number of donations (gift cards, experiences, new goods) we obtain.  We rely on families to ask for these donations. When a child brings in a donation next week before school, that child will be able to Spin the Wheel for a prize.

When: Mornings 8:40 - 8:55am, March 21 - 25th
Where: School Playground
What: Bring in an Auction Donation and Spin the Wheel
Every spin is a winner... for both the kids and the school!

Spring Testing Schedule

Testing season is quickly approaching and we want to make sure our 3rd-5th grade students have multiple opportunities to prepare for the PARCC tests. Click  here  for information, practice tests and more.

Please do not schedule appointments or vacations during these times as all students are expected to be present during testing. CMAS PARCC (Math):  3rd - 5th grades April 12-15
CMAS PARCC (Literacy): 3rd-5th grades April 18-20

Semantics Team Update!

Fourth grader Angelina Holm participated in the DPS City Orals event on Wednesday, March 9th and out of about 30 students from around the district (mostly middle school students), she earned sixth place! Some of her words included potpourri, bureaucracy, linseed and schooner...the one that got her was "phoresy" - according to the Amateur Entomologists' Society, phoresy means " the act of 'hitching a lift' on another organism." In addition, she participated in the written portion of the Colorado State Spelling Bee on Saturday and missed the cut off by just one word, though her brother Tobias, an eighth grader at Hamilton, tied for FOURTH in the state! What a ride...congratulations to Angelina, Tobias and all of our Semantics Team members! Your hard work and dedication showed throughout this journey and I am very proud of all of you!
