Help UPark Win the IKEA Life Improvement Challenge
University Park Elementary has made the cut to the top 3 applicants in the 7th Annual 'IKEA Life Improvement Challenge' - a challenge that gives us the chance to win a makeover from IKEA Centennial.
This makeover will help us with our Room to Read Initiative which utilizes IKEA furnishings in our library and throughout the school to create safe, functional, inviting and well-designed reading nooks and spaces.
Helping us win is simple.  All you have to do is go to and vote for UPark Elementary.
You can vote once a day from March 27th until April 10th. It's that easy!

We are very excited to let you know that our school library has been going through a transformation over the past few weeks, and we are going to celebrate the wonderful changes on Monday, April 18th at 6pm.  Mark this date on your calendars, as you and your children don't want to miss the fun!  We are having an author reading from her books, door prizes, food and drinks, and your child will be able to preview and check out some of the almost 500 new books that a school grant and the PTA have purchased for the library.  Plus, you will be able to see all our new comfy seating areas, tables and chairs used for games and reading, AND the new computer/tech area.  More details to come......
