NEW CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS!
New Rules Regarding 
Renewing Your License
535.92 Continuing Education Requirements

(a)Required continuing education.

18 hours of  continuing education are required for each renewal of a  real estate sales agent or broker license and must  include:

(1)a four hour Legal Update I: Laws, Rules and Forms  course;
(2)a four hour Legal Update II: Agency, Ethics and Hot  Topics course; and
(3)a six hour broker responsibility course, if the license  holder:

(i) Limitations.

The Commission will not award credit to  a license holder who attends the same course more  than once during:

(1)the term of the current license period; or
(2)the two-year period preceding the filing of an  renewal application for a license after the license  expiration date as provided for under §535.93 of this  section or return to active status as provided for under  Subchapter L of this Chapter.

Death by Chocolate is the premier fundraising event for Keep Longview Beautiful. The affair was held on February 13, 2016 at Maude Cobb Convention where ETTC was a supporter and sponsor.

Raisin' the Roof
Longview Habitat for Humanity is a Christian ecumenical ministry , founded in Longview, that  works to build homes, communities, and hope by partnering with low-to-moderate income families to build or renovate simple, safe, decent and  affordable homes.

To date, with the support of the Longview community, Habitat has housed over 83 families and continues to seek out hard-working families for the program. Raisin' the Roof allows Habitat for Humanity to raise mass amounts of money to help these families and ETTC is so happy we can be apart of that happening.

ETTC went to the Women's Council of Realtors meeting last month and had the opportunity to see Mayor of Tyler, Martin Hienes, speak about the upcoming changes  happening  in our local area. The WCR is a network of successful REALTORS®, advancing women as professionals and leaders in business, the industry and the communities we serve.  ETTC was proudly well represented by our Client Relations Team, pictured below.
