National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Bill Reintroduced
HR 822, the National Right-to-Carry Reciprocity Bill, has been reintroduced with the hope that the new Congress will be more enthusiastic about passing it. The current bill provides that anyone who has a valid firearm carry permit can use that permit in any other state that issues concealed weapons themselves, provided they are not a resident of the 'other' state. You would still be under all the same rules and restrictions of the state you were visiting though (magazine limits, pistol free areas, etc). This bill also covers Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and U.S. territories. Click here to view the bill and share your thoughts.

Oklahoma Open Carry HB 1647 in Trouble
 Rep. John Bennett's (R-Sallisaw) open carry bill was severely damaged in the Oklahoma House of Representatives late last night. Apparently Rep. Emily Virgin (D-Oklahoma City) had her amendment approved which adds the language ""if the person has filed an emergency protective order, or if a protective order has been granted by a district court". USA Carry Updates
 The reciprocity maps have been updated to show that Iowa and North Carolina have reciprocity. The Missouri Concealed Carry Permit Information page was updated thanks to the info user fied1k sent over about automobile carry, change of address on permits, and informing leo of carrying. LIVE SUPPORT ADDED:I also added Live Support buttons to the website today to help anyone that is having a trouble finding something or has a question. I'm pretty much always on the computer so I figured I could be offering live support at the same time. Glock Manual Safety Kit by Cominolli Custom
Cominolli Custom of Syracuse, NY has engineered a product for the Glock line of pistols that make it absolutely mechanically safe! Yes, the Glock has three passive safeties built into the pistol by the manufacturer, and they do work. But, and there always has to be a 'but'... There have been reports of inadvertent or negligent discharges, though none have been shown to be a fault of the pistol, to my knowledge. My concern stems from the fact that I carry my Glock 22 in an IWB hybrid holster made by Kholster of St. Louis. I have not experienced any of these "problems", but did not want to wait until I did, to do something about it. Walt, a retired military friend of mine, who has extensive experience with the Glock line of pistols answered my questions of how I can increase the safety of this fine pistol. He replied by sending me the link to Cominolli Custom's website and highly recommended the installation of the Glock Manual Safety Kit (MSK).
